Default Bleeding and the mini pill

I started taking the mini pill about 12 days ago. I'm still breast feeding my 1 year old and have not had a period since he was born. For the past 2 days I've been spotting and now today I am bleeding like a period. Even having cramps.

Is this my period coming back, or some random bleeding from starting the pill?
Anyone else had similar happen? Did you keep taking the pill or stop?

I didn't have any spotting. I started the mini pill when she was 3 weeks old and got my periods back when she was 11 months and I was still bf at that time.
