Argh @VicPark! Often my DH is home and he tells me he will be home for the day and it's happened a few times when I've been SO sick and exhausted and then I've thought awesome I can rest a bit today and then just as I've got comfortable on the couch or about to lay down he suddenly has a job come in! So annoying!!! It SUCKS

LNO - I whinged once to DH about how I seemed to be doing everything with regard to house and kids etc and he offered to do the grocery shopping, so I said ok I'll get the kids ready and he's like huh? And I'm like err... I have to do it WITH two kids in tow... So so can you... He's like 'I'm not doing that, it's too hard' and I'm like umm... Doing the shopping with NO kids is like a ****en holiday!!!

Lmfao I said something similar to my DP about the laundry mat. Seriously tells me he will watch the kids while they are in bed so I can go do the stinky washing! He said its good relaxing and quiet time for you wtf!! Who wants to do the stinky washing in a crappy spider filled laundry mat at 9pm at night when you could be sleeping before the baby wakes again!!

    OMG!!! No words! Haha

Laundromats must be the new place to be!! Why doesn't he go and do it is it's so relaxing? Better yet, let him take the kids and he can have a snooze there while watching the kids (one eye open). It will be so much fun!

One of the best things about being in London with a young baby is that their online shopping and it's ability for same day or next day delivery is AMAZING! I'd hate to think how we'd be eating, washing, dressing, and multiple other things (feeding the cats) if I couldn't just hop online and opt for next day delivery!

You ladies aren't really making me regret my decision to fly solo! No way that sh/t would fly with me, I would totally be divorced already.

Ah man... I have DS the same solids (rice cereal and pear) at the same time as the night before as I thought that was what helped him sleep a bit longer... It didn't work.

He woke crying at. 8:30 but luckily settled with a dummy, then woke again at 10:30, I fed him and put him back to bed and he wouldn't settle. :; he kept fussing and randomly letting out little cries... So unusual.

Anyway then I think I fed him the other side (can't remember, too tired) and brought him into bed with me where he fell asleep quite quickly. He then slept til 3:30??? But I couldn't sleep as I kept worrying about rolling on him or blanket going over his face etc. Anyway 3:39 he wakes for another feed so I try putting him back in his bassinet again.

I THINK he slept till 4/4:15? Where he woke crying again so I fed again and changed nappy as realised he'd do e a poo, then put him back to bed.. Again starts to cry and fuss. I can't remember what happened after that but I know he was fed again and put back in bed with me at 5... Then if course DS1 woke us at 6:30

I'm exhausted again. Feel like a zombie

I get one 'ok' night followed by a really really crappy one

My psych doesn't get back until 16th July so I have to wait until then for a letter for tresillian...

I could ask her to get a colleague of her to do it? But I haven't met any of them before...

I'd still ask her even to get the receptionist to do one unless she has an assistant? My psychologist works closely with a psychiatrist too just In case.

I had a similar night to you @SAgirl. Only DS won't settle in bed with me so I don't bother trying. Meanwhile DP is still in bed and I'm up with DS. He didn't get up once. All he had to do was put a dummy in but apparently that requires an engineering degree!!
