I'm so sorry Ellie couldn't stay - I can't imagine the heartbreak you're going through especially after the loss of your twins. I'm crying for you xoxo

My baby girl died at 24 weeks and to be honest I didn't even think to let it happen naturally. I went in on a Tuesday because I hadn't felt her move in a while.
You know all the checks and get eventually confirmed she had died. After DP got there they explained the induction process with the gels inserted etc and said to come back the next day - I said no. I couldn't let her go straight away. I felt a bit of pressure from them but I just wanted one more day with her a part of me so we said we'd come back Thursday.
Thursday afternoon I was induced at 2 pm and again at 8 with gels inserted.
Take music!! It was our first birth so we had no idea how to prep for it. It was so quiet - they put us in a family birth center room away from the main ward no crying babies... But we were left mostly alone in our quiet little world.
I was checked and told i was only 2 cm so had some hours to go but I'm not sure if they read my chart and knew she was so small as she was born 10 min after I was checked - perfectly in her sac. You don't need to dilate fully and the labour isn't half as painful (physically) as full term. It took 12 hours.
She was the most beautiful thing ive ever seen xox She stayed in the room with me over night, we held her and kissed her. The midwife dressed her in tiny knitted clothes...

Pm me if I can help xox
