Hahaha! Just caught you on another thread @ScubaGal lol!

Good to have another inner westie!

How long have you been TTC?
I personally didn't like Genea but they have very good results so that's what counts!
RPA has about a 5 month wait for initial appt so my advice would be to put your name down now

    We'll defo keep you updated!

That's a great idea @amiracle4me I'll definitely put my name down if this first go doesn't take. I'm trying to have low expectations... I've been very happy at Genea but that's due to Dr Dezarnaulds she's just been so caring. I've been TTC since the day I got back from my honeymoon (April last year) when I thought I was accidentally BFP but actually it was the beginning of irregular cycles that turned out to be severe endo, then a bit of mild PCOS and with a car accident thrown in last year. Was expecting things to improve after I lost a few kgs but we recently found out DH has antisperm antibodies at 97% so ICSI is our only option. Bit of a shock, but onwards and upwards as they say.

    Hey @Bongley
I'm sorry to hear about your elbow. How did that happen?! Sounds painful

Exciting about you starting soon! I'm feeling very impatient now I have a plan of action - just want it to start already!

I've got my nurses appt on Friday so I've taken half a days annual leave so I can relax and take it all in properly. I should come on my AF mid to late July depending on my PCOS.

How are you feeling about it all?

@scubagirl sounds like you had a shocker of a year with the car accident and fertility issues.
@amiracle4me I tripped on a root while walking across some grass. My son was on my back in a carrier so I think the added weight exacerbated the damage done. Anyway, I'm back at work with a plate in my elbow and a limited range of motion in my arm.

I got my period on sunday, BT yesterday and started my meds today. EPU sometime next week apparently, so quick compared to the long down regulation.

    you two get started soon.

Thanks @Bongley yeah it was a full on year for sure, I really realised how much it was affecting me when I went to a training course on trauma informed care and found I was experiencing some of the symptoms of trauma...

Good luck for your EPU next week, that's really fast!

I'm going to start around 5 July I think, AF is usually pretty predictable. This is the first time in a year I've been in the TWW knowing it'll be a BFN and just counting down the days...

Of course the little voice in my head thinks maybe there will be a miracle BFP, but it's SO unlikely.

@ScubaGal it depends on the protocol, the long reg with the pill start was long:- Get period, take pill, come off pill after 3 weeks (get another period), take synarel then start injecting. From first period to EPU about 6 weeks.
Short regulation:- get period, inject for roughly 2 weeks then EPU.

Having said that you usually have to wait a month in between cycles anyway and that's when you take the pill for the long reg.

thanks that makes so much more sense now, everyone seems to be on different things and I've no idea what I'll actually be taking other than I'm supposed to turn up to clinic when AF turns up...
