I had a 2005 kia (not a carnival) and also had nothing but problems with it. It spent so much time at the dealer having warranty jobs it was ridiculous. Traded it after 13mths. I vow never ever to own one again

I had a Kia sportage and it was an awesome car - never any trouble with it, had it for 15 years and sold it for a decent price too!

We have 2012 Kia grand carnival and absolutely love. Heaps of anchor points for car seats, plenty of boot space, easy to drive, seems good value for petrol, haven't had one problem with it. Also love the sliding doors on both sides - major selling point for me!
Maybe they have fixed things from older models.
