At around 3am this morning I woke up with the most severe cramps that left me rolling on the floor in pain. I couldn't sleep, I couldn't function. I was so close to going to the ER as I just couldn't handle a minute more of it. Within getting dressed and ready to head to the hospital it died down enough for me to get some sleep.
    No bleeding though.

Feeling okay, but extremely tired and not too keen on working today. Just want to know what's going on really. It's frustrating and upsetting.

I hope you're feeling OK now. Unfortunately that sounds a lot like my miscarriage, I would wake up each night at around 1am with about an hour of insane pain. I was bleeding, but had been bleeding since I'd got my BFP 7 weeks before (slow growing preg, low HCG etc), but the bleeding did not increase with the overnight pain. After about 3 nights, I had one night/morning where the pain lasted about 5 hours, then I just had short periods of pain after that and the bleeding stopped about a week after the worst night. Panadiene would take the edge of the pain.

As it's been about 4-5 days since your last scan I would see if you can get another scan done today. It has been long enough to show some growth if the pregnancy is viable, if not they may be able to see fluid and the sac detaching, meaning you are miscarrying.

I feel that would be better for you than waiting and needing to go to emergency tonight. You may need to emhasise that it is urgent and your GP may be able to call the ultrasound place for you to get one of their emergency appointments.

Wow I really hope you find out either way ASAP being in limbo and waiting for results can be so hard, then to add on your current problems. I'm giving you big hugs if anything transpires through your posts is how incredibly strong you are! Thinking of you.

How are you now? Did you end up going to work? If the pain returns don't feel shy or silly for going to ER. Thinking of you! x
