Default anyone watching the Giro D'Italia?

    I admit - I like watching cycling.

I know - that makes me weird. I can live with that

So - anyone else watching it? Anyone want to watch with me?

(even if you dont like cycling - italy is MUCH more spectacular than France , and this week in the mountains is going to be amazing)

    I'm here!

I started watching the Tour de France about 7 yrs ago (can't even tell you why I started watching - just stumbled across it) and now I'm a full blown fan. I watch all the big races and as many of the small ones as I can find on Eurosport.

My DP thinks I'm a loon when I give him a running commentary of what's happening.

I'm loving the giro this year - although the weathers been a bit harsh - poor blokes.

Who are you cheering for? I would love if Cadel came through but it's so close and the time gaps are changing each stage so it could be anyone still.

yeah I started watching about the same time @wobbleyhorse ... and now I am hooked too.

I like the classics better ... but of the Grand Tours, the Giro is my favourite.

I was actually hoping Cadel would win - its his last shot really. Not much hope now though, he is fading fast. I think Quintana will win from here.

Greenedge have had a pretty amazing race - actually Australians in general have had an absolutely AWESOME month ... since Liege really ...

Greenedge have been amazing! Only a few left in the race but they have developed so well since they started. I think they will put on a good show in the Tour.

I think Quintana is looking good - not sure about Rigoberto making the distance - but he was such a worker at Sky so it would be nice for him to win.

Still, I have my fingers crossed for Cadel - he's a smart rider and as we've seen it only takes a touch of the wheel and everything changes.

yeah I have my doubts about Uran too ... though he was great last year, so he can go the distance.

Majka is one I like too. I really hope he does well, as he is a major talent for the future (and I admit, I am a bit if a Contador fan so have a soft spot for Saxo)

Cadel ... unless its a situation like last year where the major mountain passes are cancelled then I cant see him making it. The others are just too strong in the mountains which has always been his weak point - even at his best. He needed a bigger gap out of the ITT

anyway - rest day today, so an early night for a change

I'd love to join in. I love cycling (both watching and doing). Unfortunately I just don't seem to make it to watch, I'm so tired but then. I will try my best this week.
