It was on the Family Update page on FB, which is the CL site run by CL. I'm including a screen shot as it's a bit hard to find

    SKB.jpg

and I wasn't exactly right, I only scanned it quickly. it says it has to be passed by June 30, not that this is when the Senate hears it.

Oh ok, so we still don't know yet when and whether the bill will be introduced to parliament.

They might not introduce it before Jul 01. They have a lot of fights to fight. Cross your fingers

Nope. I really need to read lol But given the Senate is hearing all the budget amendments atm it's fair to suggest they might scrape it in. I'd be very pleased with 1 more payment, it would really help towards DD's trip.

The bill needs to be introduced to the house of representative first and there are so much work they can do in a 10 days sitting...

Parliament sits from 9am so the Program should be available around 8am. You can generally tell from the portfolios in the Appropriation Bill whether something will be there or not.

Ahh the Notice Paper is out:

Topics of interest that will be further discussed today are the early childhood programs and childcare funding.

I have little hope that childcare funding won't pass the senate

What are they wanting to do to CCB? Either way it appears it will be thrown out due to lack of information from the govt? both my kids came into bed with me last night and I'm exhausted so not sure if I'm reading it right?
