We buy ours online from Lego in US and have it shipped back using a third-party (we use Bongo). Even with shipping it's still cheaper than buying it here. Basically any site that won't ship/sell to Aust we buy, get it shipped to the Bongo warehouse in the US and then they ship on to us.

We use the same approach for things like MAC cosmetics, Tiffany jewellery, various computer bits and pieces, saves a fortune. With Bongo you can bundle packages together to save on shipping.
