Toys r us are good for the things that aren't in other stores, but I find their prices ridiculous.

I got a Thomas gold mine in big w for $48 and the sane thing in toys r us was $96.

I also think their layby pricing/policy is unfair.

I know they do one early in the year but I think they may also do one in the next couple of months - at least I hope they do.

True. I was just curious. I've got 3 kids and never filled 3 trolleys on Christmas layby.

What's the deal with their pricing policy? Sucks they're more expensive!

I think with toys r us you have to have at least $200 to layby.
I agree with the cost of things there being ridiculously overpriced I really only get thing that are on clearance from there.

    Yes, $200 minimum.

$7.50 layby fee and I think there's more.

I get most of my toys from toys r us mainly as they have a bigger range than the other stores - I found the sales usually pretty good there last year
Oh and they price match !

Yes just for my child presents from us and my mum and dad, 2 big trucks filled one trolley alone. Then the other things the packaging is huge. We do go a little crazy at Christmas but as a pp said a few larger items in big boxes and you need multiple trolleys

That really sucks! I like to buy bits and pieces from different stores so no way would I meet the $200!
