    I think its quite a girly name even though I know a man named Darcy.

    My hubby's name is Darby, but heaps of people get it wrong and calls him Darcy and he hates it, so i guess maybe he hates the fact that after so long he gets his name wrong, rather than hating the name Darcy... he just said it sounds too girly- but not girly enough to be a girls name

    I've never thought of it as a girl's name, only a boys and like others 'Mr Darcy' or Colin Firth comes to mind.

    I like it for both.

    i have a very 'manly' male cousin called Darcy and it really suits him. I also know a very girly 3 yr old girl called Darcy and it also really suits her!
