This brings up my regular, random thought: am I the only person in the world with no visual brain whatsoever? Like, when I read a book, I don't have a running picture in my mind. That's why I skip all the pages that spend twenty paragraphs describing flowers in a field. Means nothing to me. And I certainly don't have a mental image of the hub!
Nope, I'm exactly the same. Do most people actually have a visual of what they are reading? Are we just weirdos? Lol

I blame it on boredom and sleep deprivation.

I think I imagine bubhub land to be somewhere cross between my first scenario and an imaginary group of friends having an imaginary conversation.

Wow that's kind of harsh...I use self serve all the time when I have a lot of groceries, my kids love it and there is no sign saying ** items or less...

How do slang words become used in wider society? Eg. who first used the word 'bogan' or phrase 'too easy' and how did it spread from that first use to something everyone is familiar with?????

Um his fiddling stick? Cos the kids kept her awake all the night before and she was tired so when he started playing with his fiddling stick, leaving her alone, she was "over the moon"!
