I read a blog yesterday about someone's photo of their daughter which got turned into a meme (mood swing) and went viral. It was interesting.

Will I get in trouble if I do my driving test barefoot?? This has been bugging me, I hate driving in shoes but don't want to get in trouble for not wearing shoes....hmmmm

I wore ballets flats when I did my test and just slipped my shoe off when it started. Nothing was said and I still passed.

I wouldn't risk it personally. If you really feel better without shoes on, ask the driving instructor but I would not think it safe to try and sneak a shoe or shoes off of you are planning on concealing the fact and leaving them in the foot well.

I think you do need to. I only say that because many MANY years ago I read something along those lines in a handbook.

    This. ^^

It can be dangerous having items near the pedals...they could roll under them & get stuck.

I'm not 100% sure but I think in Victoria it's a legal requirement to wear shoes when you drive.

I did my driving test in bare feet. Even now I still prefer driving with my shoes off.

I've just researched driving/doing test in bare feet and couldn't find anything saying it's a legal requirement (NSW and vic). When I was doing lessons I always took my shoe off and my driving instructor said if I wore thongs or heels to the test I would be asked to take them off for the test. Maybe call the equivalent to vic roads in your state and ask.

Do you have a link to that? It sounds like something I'd like to read.
