    Default Air fryer?!

Was thinking of buying an air fryer. Has anyone used one and are they worth the $$ are there any particularly good or bad ones? They are quite expensive so did to want to fork over a lot of $$ for something not so great

My Mum has the Phillips Airfryer and she loves it, is always raving about how quick and easy it is to use. She's made so many things in there that she would usually fry or bake, and I think they taste great.

If you're wanting to use it to replace a deep fryer you will notice a difference, for example hot chips will taste baked rather than fried, but they still turn out crunchy and it's much healthier; also it's much quicker than using the oven and easier to clean.

I wanted a Tefal one, but couldn't justify the price without knowing if they were really as good as they're touted to being, so I bought an Aldi one and have used it a handful of times. I must admit, I was pleasantly surprised at how crunchy potato comes out, I thought for sure an air fryer couldn't achieve a crunch and so much better for cholesterol etc.

I have to dig it out and start using it again, as when we moved house it was packed away.

I love my Philips airfryer It has a permanent spot on my bench, we use it for anything that can be done in a deep fryer or oven (croissants are awesome). Well worth the money

I'm interested also.. But can't justify the price for the tefal one just to make chips. Any other cheaper ones out there, there's no aldi where I live😢

I love my philips Airfryer too. I have the XL and I bought it from TVSN on a payment plan. It was $350 + postage. It came with a bonus baking tin. I cook loads of yummy things in it! Can't wait till the grill pan accessory is available here.

Apparently Kogan sell them online for a reasonable price. A girl at my husband's work has brought it in and DH was so impressed he wants one now.

Wow I didn't realise you could do steak in an air fryer. I might have to look into one if its going to do more than just chips!
