I watched the sinkhole thing too.
I have a strange fascination with doomsday/nature's destructive power etc.
I'd have to leave Facebook too!! Must admit I spend A LOT more time now that our group is on there.....it's not just trolling through posts, it's catching up/chatting!!
And now that I'm on mat leave and at home most of the time, I'm using our wireless instead of my phone data.

The only time I plan to go off Facebook is about the time I am due. I don't want family/friends constantly asking me if bub has been born. I would want some 'privacy' if that makes sense?
I'll have to stay updated with you girls here when the time comes.

Ill never leave FB! way too addicted!!!
Pumpkaboo, (its so strange saying your BH names) you can just block people from writing on your wall and messaging you, rather than leaving all together.

I like the blocking from posting to wall around due date. Could be good around ur 10week mark too if some ppl know ur utd but keeping it off fb, for eg.

You know mrs t . I did the opposite. I was texting and fb'ing when I was having contractions. Two people actually texted have you had bub yet? And I said 'no, I bet I go over'. They got a big surprise about 12 hrs later that I had her about 7 hrs later.

I'd be ok with communicating with ppl, I just don't want them to be able to post to me publicly.
