Ok so this pregnancy is doing weird things to me.
I have (or should I say used to have) the sex drive of a teenage boy.
Lately the thought of it makes me feel so sick and I'm terrified to actually do it. Like something bad will happen 😕
I had sex 6+ times a day when I was pregnant with the twins.
What's wrong with me 😭

Wow. Firstly, please don't tell my Dh how much s3x your DH was getting. Secondly, the theory usually goes the other way, ie. boy babies generally put mum off the idea. I personally felt no different from one pregnancy to the next.

So had to share this with someone - looks like DS3 has got a spot at childcare next year for a day
It's my year to finish off uni and volunteer if I have to to get back into the workforce. Plan is for one day next year and two days the year after.
So hope to get some casual days.

DH isn't the twins dad so the poor thing is being very patient with me. He knows about how I was when I was pregnant with them. Everybody tells him - I really love that 😑
Tbh I don't even like being touched atm.

Oh no, the poor guy. Maybe he should have a chat to my DH at the moment! We were told we couldn't at all for our last pregnancy as it was high risk and I had several bleeds - not all external.
It's that point in pregnancy that I remind DH that he should have made the most of the ttc process.

6+ times a day? Hey-zeus! I wish I had that kinda drive! Go mummak!
I've just had a chat with my gp about contraception too. Not keen on mirena at all but might consider thd pill until I can talk Jim into having a vasectamy...if I can. When I told him about it as an option and that our gp can get him a referral to chat to a urologist about it he just flat out said no. We'll see. I just really don't want to muck about with synthetic hormones, especially any estrogen (sp.?), because breast cancer runs in the family
And sorry I've been a bit MIA - big girl had pnemonia and an asthma attack last week. Had our first ride in an ambulance which G thought was fantastic. The ambo and her talked about Frozen the whole way to the hospy! Then she got an icy pole from a nurse and decided she wanted to stay the night
Much better now thank goodness!
Hope you're all well xx

Jeebus Mummak six times?? If we had that in a month before having dd it was a good month lol.
All I can say is that every pregnancy, and how it affects you, is different. It could be that you're feelings/desires will change the further you get into it as well. Don't beat yourself up! Does your DH know how much it upsets you? xx
Ps nothing's wrong with you

Glad to hear she is okay now. It's horrible not being able to breathe. (I'm asthmatic and have a chest infection atm)
I never ever thought that DH would get a vasectomy and never thought that I would ask him to consider one. I just assumed that I would get my tubes done...until I looked into it a bit more and read about what the outcome could be including heavier, longer bleeding for up to 3/4 of the month. I knew knowing my luck that I'd be one of the unlucky ones so I asked DH if he could chat with the guys at work who had had one and see what he thinks. I can't have estrogen tabs due to a clotting disorder they found along the way and I already had one TIA when I fell with twins a few years back.

Hopefully DH comes around Jessy - once we're definitely done and dusted here I'd like mine to get the snip too. I've been on bc for the vast majority of my reproductive life ffs! If you don't do hormonal bc what what would the other option be? Hysterectomy?? Or no s3x at all?? Maybe if he knows the other options ...... Men. Sigh. xx
