Oh it's about time she 'burst open' (as DS2 would say)

Tugs - at least the boy/boy combi would still work. Our DS1 is the closest to DH so far and DH already can see himself! So from your diary it would seem you are a couple of months away from doing a cycle by the time all the tests and things are done - yes? So it will be a mid 2015 bub(s). Great that things are moving along and they are being thorough. So many FS aren't thorough and 'just see how things go' until it doesn't work or the baby is mc'd and then they go 'oh that didn't work', 'let's try xyz and see how that one goes". Much rather the thorough approach myself.

Agreed LT, would much rather take a few extra months to plan and then get it right. A few months looks like about right yes, as long as we have the money for it. The testing isn't cheap. But it's already spread out a bit so hopefully shouldn't need any delays there.

I asked dh if he was ok with twins and his reply was "of course, as long as it's not two girls *shudder*" I just laughed. He's so insensitive lol. I asked him to be serious though and he said yes, whatever happened no matter what sex or how many, it will be right :-)

I don't necessarily want three kids (two is plenty for me), but if I wouldn't mind falling with twins next time! My mum is an identical twin. I think she has twins somewhere else in her family too.

My dad is a twin and his sister was also a twin but her twin didn't survive birth...

I always wanted twins but now I've changed my mind! It's hard work! It's hard enough with just one!

I agree with munch. I thought twins would be cool, but changed my mind now. Lol

LT...thank you for your kind words! Yep I've definitely been patient & we've been incredibly lucky to fall on our first go at ICSI.
We nicknamed our transferred embryo 'Squirt' (in keeping with the Nemo theme of course!) and that's still what we're called them now they're a baby!
Squirt is due 16th Feb 😊
