Hehehe I know he is adorable takes after his daddy and daddy Loves it when people tell him Hilton looks exactly like him.
AFM Finally we seem to be sorting out the wind problem. He was sleeping 3hrs & 1hr for a feed and nappy change but the wind threw him out of whack so we were having a big unsettled block period which would wipe out a whole 3hr sleep session. Paediatrician told me to go sugar free as most bubs are born sugar intolerant which helped but it wasn't enough. The dummy helps after feeds plus draining A whole boob per feed instead of going by timings and trying to keep boobs evenly drained then expressing the other boob. This is due to over supply causing him to gulp and suck in air plus the fat at the back of the boobs milk supply helps his guts and because I wasn't letting him drain a boob he wasn't getting that natural assistance. We are also giving Infacol every second feed before the feed as infants friend wasn't working.
He is still a great latcher and when asleep sleeps well.
Settling technique we use is rocking only when he cries so he still settles himself we just distract him with rocking when he cries so he doesn't get too worked up. Trick is to stop rocking as soon as the cry stops eg grizzling doesn't count as crying - it's hard at first but does work for us

PS for those mummy's to be left one thing I wish I knew was labour might be hard but recovery can be harder emotionally when you can't tend to your bubs needs due to Your own pain (or rushing to toilet from wetting yourself or bleeding) from me my episiotomy and the graze I had near it caused my a lot of pain if you can get some Epsom Salts as salt baths help a lot (500g per bath) with recovery also maternity pads I found the brand Cotton (chemist Warehouse has them) were the best as super long and after I fed bub I got a gush of blood which would overflow the front and back of other brand as tried U, libra and there was another one.
Oh and hubby got me an inflatable ring from chemist warehouse too which helped me actually sit normally not on my side like I did for first 3days.
Hope it helps

we had first immunisations this morning, poor darling. For about a minute she really didn't know what hit her! I felt her pain.

Welcome back Jay, we missed you!
Just got back from my 6wk pp appt and my blood pressure is still really high. Was 158/88 at the Obs rooms then 162/94 two hours later so I'm waiting to hear back. My haematoma is likely to have been cause by not taking it easy and possibly causing trauma to those internal stitches.
Also, he's happy for us to go again in as little as 6 months I'm taking the pill for now just in case (which seems weird after ivf and trying so long) but he said if by way of a miracle (remembering anything is possible) that it wouldn't be a big deal.

Welcome back Jay!
I hope your bp settles down soon Ngaiz and the issues with your scar don't give you too many problems.
Had a weigh in today and Annabel is now 5.4kg at 11 weeks
My period is just starting up again this evening. It actually feels really strange that my body is technically ready to start making more babies...
