I have the Hoover mode powerhead. It's amazing! Great for if you have animals and It's very light.

Go for Miele!! My first Miele lasted 20 years (it was a hand me down from my mum). Naturally I brought another about 10 years ago and it's still going strong.

I have to say my dyson is the best thing ever after going through numerous brands. It all depends on your budget though. I've heard quite a few people raving about the wet n dry shop vacuums from bunnings.

We have a dyson but mostly it just sits in the cupboard because our Roomba does every room!

Depending on your needs Definitely consider the Roomba. DH even loves it and thinks he's done the vacuuming by pressing start!

I get our Dyson out to do cobwebs and other fiddly jobs.

I thought the Dyson was good but the Roomba is the best money I've ever spent!

I think the Hoover with the power head is the best there is.. It picks up better than a dyson, get a sales person to do a demo with the Hoover, I love mine.

    i have a Numatic - George

It's such a good wet / dry vacuum cleaner. Except he's the biggest out of his brother's and sisters so if you want a space saving vacuum cleaner maybe a dyson. But I'm a weirdo and keep him sitting in my laundry doing his cheeky smile! hahaha.

I love my George, my partner does get a bit jealous though. lol!
