Hiya I'm new to the fitbit flex thing but looking for friends who have a fitbit flex who are wanting to lose weight or be more active with me.
I got mine yesterday and still adjusting to it. Had a shocker of a sleep last night but woke on time to the vibration on my wrist.
What do you really like about the fitbit flex?
For me, it's the fact that I can record my steps and I hope to get more active. I hope to lose a bit of weight. Ideally 20 kilos.
Would love to hear from any other fitbit flex users! TIA!

MY friend has just bought one and she was showing it to me this morning. It syncs with My Fitness Pal, and syncs with the app on her phone. It automatically her activity (regular and very active), sleep and calories, she can track her water and food, and the app shows a real time summary of all that (I think there were about 10 things being tracked)
I want one now!

I got one for Mothers Day!! Hubby set it up for me today.
I'm hoping to lose 10 kgs over the next few months by daily exercise and Isagenix. The fitbit will help me track myself and hold me accountable. I'm really interested in tracking how I sleep.

I find it is so valuable for tracking sleep. I thought I slept terribly and the flex confirms my suspicions.
After getting my step goal I'm now looking to start dropping the kilos. I am heading very quickly towards the 100kg mark and not impressed at myself. But no time for self pity, that'll only get me fatter with emotional eating etc.
This year is all about me. I'm 27 soon, and most certainly should not weigh as much as I do now.
Keep your eyes open in the next few days or weeks I might actually create a fitbit weight loss challenge thread might be easier knowing we are not going alone!

It wasn't very valuable to me today. I wore it for the first time to my 45 min PT session but it only calculated 13 active minutes. I did a hard session on the cross trainer but I hold onto the stationary handles.
I've put my food into the app today which I liked, I've never counted calories before.

I find it's not accurate on my cross trainer.
It's really difficult to get the 10,000 steps in one day!

Can someone tell me how to get it to sync to MFP? I find the food diary so much easier on MFP and it already has all my fav foods in it.
Did the fitbit challenge thread ever get started?
