Default When life gives you lemons you make ....

The lemon tree is full, give me your ideas of lemon recipes. If they are suitable for BLW, even better.

    Thanks

I second the lemon butter/curd idea. That is one of my favourite things. Then you could make some sweet tart shells and fill them with the curd for a yummy dessert.

Lemon (with garlic and parsley/fragrant herbs) mixed in with butter. Great to spread on warm lamb, chicken and beef. You can make up a big batch and freeze in portions to use whenever you need them.

    Lemon sorbet
    Lemon cordial
Fish cakes with lemon juice and rind in the mix
You could juice a bunch of them and freeze in ice cube trays and then in zip lock bags and just pull out for dressings etc...
Garlic, lemon and rosemary make a beautiful rub/marinade for lamb, so either a rack or cutlets or a nice slow roasted shoulder (both would be good for BLW)
I do a nice, easy smoked salmon salad that has a lemon and creme fraiche dressing.

How about some ginger ade http://www.sarahwilson.com/2012/11/make-your-own-ginger-ade-soda/
I've been making this, I've grown a load of ginger in my garden, my lemon tree is a dud, but someone else gave me lemons. My kids like to drink it too.

    Lemonade!

Lemon chicken is dead easy and delicious.

Gin and tonic needs a segment of lemon as is lovely (having one right now)

chicken soup with with rice and lemon is also beautiful in winter.
