Just wanted to share these two sites that popped up on my facebook. Proof that sexism is everywhere. I applaud this woman and what she is achieving.

I've been looking more through the site and the stories there are absolutely sad.

I only had a quick look through some of the posts in the first link and what's so distressing is that it's not just venting about a careless remark by a colleague or complaining that their husband's mum hates him sharing the housework. So, so many women recounting incidents of rape and sexual assault, feeling powerless to do anything and blaming themselves. I think the mere fact that these behaviours are (IMO) trivialised by writing them off as sexism and not what they are, serious crimes, shows just how much further society's attitudes towards the treatment of women still has to come.

That is one thing the lady who started it said. She expected a few posts of wolf whistles and bad remarks/jokes. She was so suprised to get all these serious accounts of assault. She used the site to change security measures on uk transport.
