Default First FET what to expect.

As the heading says, I will be doing my first FET cycle soon. What can I expect? Fs suggests a natural FET.

Hi Shell! I just posted a different question about natural FETs. I am slightly confused as to what exactly is going to happen. All I know is I need to call the nurse on CD1 and then wait until CD 10-11 for more instructions.

I would like to know a little more now too. Hopefully someone can help us out

    Hi!

For my natural FETs the clinic just monitored for ovulation via bloods from day 10 (every 2-3days). My second clinic also did a scan to measure the follicles to use as extra info on when ovulation would occur which was usually around day 13-14 for me. Once they confirm you have ovulated they'll do an embryo transfer in the days following depending on what day the embryo is, so 5 days after ovulation for a Day 5 emby. Wishing you all the sticky dust in the world x

Thank you hope. I think that sounds like what our fs said it would be like.

Fiona I won't be starting until the cycle after next. As I want to let my body have a breather after our last cycle. I had a laparoscopy and a hysteroscopy, so I think she needs a rest
My DH and I were as u know thinking of changing fs. But we are willing to give her a try on a fet cycle which we have never done before.

DH 33 me 34, 3 fur babies. 4x ivf/icsi cycles already. First didnt make it to et, second x1 embryo didnt want to stick around, third x2 embryos bfn, fourth (went organic for 3 months) hysteroscopy and laparoscopy and day 21 scratching x5 blastocysts x1 transferred bfn x4 frosties.

Yep that's how it's been for me Fiona :-) just blood test and ultrasounds :-) easy peesy compared with stim cycle. Though, is this first time for pregynal? I had it on to stim cycle but no drugs for this natural frozen Embie transfer ! Thank god, the hormones were so hard on my wee body! Only in trying to get back to normal after ..

you'll be fine , some people don't react much, i chose to stop at number 2 as it made me so unwell...but u already had mild ohss so it exacerbated everything. It's a progesterone support, so if you're doing a medicated fet it makes sense as you might have ovulation controlled with drugs? Did you have progesterone support after stim cycle?
