A sleep in, and some slippers chosen by DS2, followed by a lunch with my beautiful Mum and my family. There isn't anything else I want, just to be with them, and some sleep

Breakfast. DH is trying his first crepes. He has also bought me a roasting pan that I really wanted that has a lid that can be used as a griddle pan on the stove. .

Df got me a lucky bamboo. I'm pretty simple

The boys bought gifts at the mothers day stall at school.

As ds2 is only 5 and it's his first time doing it he gave me my present on Friday afternoon. A coffee mug that says mum and some chocolates. He got the chocolates

Ds1 has his gift hiding under his bed with a jacket covering it

I am currently getting less sleep than usual as DD has chosen mother's day eve to be extra unsettled and wake up loads. How kind of her!

Joking aside, I am getting flowers and maltesers (found hidden in laundry) and probably some other things I haven't found yet. I have requested some alone time in the morning, just to sit on my butt at home which never usually happens. DH was expecting me to want a nice family trip out together but we do that all the time. I want peace and quiet!!
