I don't like my husband spending money on me for Mother's Day! I much prefer the gifts the kids make me and spoiling me by cooking something or letting me relax with them for the day. If I was to pick something out or ask for something it would feel wrong to me. That's just how I feel though

I just told DH to buy me some lovely flowers.... Although I think I might add on a foot massage from him too! Lol

A massage voucher. So looking forward to relaxing for an hour. Hopefully a sleep in too. DD made a card at kinder I think but I have to wait for it apparently.

I don't expect I'll be geyting anything. Not even something handmade from school, as we have been on holidays so DD1 missed the first week and a bit of school.

I'm getting a dishwasher!
I had to go pick it out today so ruined the surprise a bit.
Ds1 also asked me to buy a cup he thought I would like and he payed me back later with pocket money.
This is the first real mothers day gift.

I just saw my presents that DD "bought" at the day care stall on behalf of her (2yo) and DS (1yo)... (Good work DH hiding them unwrapped in the slow cooker which I use at least once a week).
A cup that says "Grandmother's Love"...
Wtf! Is my DD trying to tell me she's pregnant?!?!
*sigh* Good work day-care... It should have been one gift from DS and one from DD (as specified on the form). Not a mum and grandmother one. They don't even have a grandmother!
DH better be getting me something good haha.

I don't usually ask for anything or expect much for Mother's Day BUT this year all my personal items needs replacing so I got a new hairdryer.
I was going to buy one anyway but I feel less guilty when it can be doubled up as a pressie
I also gave DS $5 for the Mother's day stall today, his first time buying something on his own.
I can't wait to see what he chooses hahaha

Changing my answer.
Ds1 gave his little brother and sister $5 each to buy me something at the mothers day stall.
I couldn't be more touched if if someone gave me a million dollars.
I only found out when I went to check d's school bag. He yelled at me to stop and said that his big brother gave him money to buy me something and it's in his bag.
