    We had a $33000 car loan with repayments of not quite $700 per month over 5 years. It was a secured personal loan. We worked hard and paid it off in 2.5 years. I never want another car loan again!

    We do. Ours was for a bit over $30, 000 with repayments $600 a month. Although for the last 6 months or so we have been paying $900 a month.
