I think they just loved the treasure hunt aspect of Brent's dish. I must admit I would love to be served a mousse like that...I don't usually like mousse but that would make me want to hunt. I would like to see it served with a mini shovel.

I would like to know what happened to the overseas segment that previous seasons have done. The contestants have been totally ripped off!

He just can't do any wrong in your eyes Harvs
I have to ask though...the onesie?
I think Ben is smarter than he looks!
He must have used the old noodle to think ahead, it being Heston week and all.
I reckon he was planning that one all week

Yes he can do wrong! I think he was lucky the ladies got flustered tbh, because I think he could have done a lot better. I think what saved him was that he had a clear story behind his, and he did that popping candy thing. Because I agree, looking like chocolate and tasting like chocolate isn't very 'Heston'. And don't get me started on those awful schnitzels.
I may or may not have a few screenshots of the onesie...

Yeah Robot's peanut butter mousse was like that too. Maybe they need a plating mousse masterclass!
19-07-2014 18:02 #799
If you're going to pipe mousse onto a plate I don't think that there's much you can do to make it look less tu^d-like.
Brent's plate looked bad but, hey, I would have been happy to eat it!
Don't know if anyone stayed watching for the masterclass but George's dessert looked awesome. I'd love to make that. What a treat!

Harvs, I have clearly missed something, but who is Robot?...Is it NZ-Benny-Boy?
Ps. I am partial to the odd voddie, myself. I think it enhances the viewing experience.
