Default New Here - advice on most accurate home pregnancy tests

    Hi ladies,

I am new in here and I'm just wondering what the most accurate home pregnancy test seems to be? are the digital ones that come up saying pregnant the most accurate?

    Thanks lilyloubelle

From what i have heard the digital ones aren't as sensitive as the First Response Early Result tests. You will get an earlier reading on the FRER tests than what you will on the digital.

We've been trying/not preventing for quite a long time, yesterday at approx 3 days before my period was due I had some spotting, so I bought some pregnosis clear tests yesterday and took a test this morning which has come up with a light second line. I'm such a pessimist though as I've never seen a second line lol…. so thought I probably should test again with something more accurate before calling my doctor. It's hard too as I don't want to get my husbands hopes up either by saying I got a positive test …..

yeah I;ve never had a line show up before… except for on ovulation predictor ones. there was a line…. think I'm just finding it a bit hard to believe but will get a First response one to be sure… might even wait a couple of days… if I can.

thanks for the advice ladies. I just wish I could get something more concrete to tell the other half lol

thanks heaps Went in for my results today and the one test they missed was the HCG one for bloods the only results I really wanted…. so had to have bloods redone. Lucky I'm pretty happy with the tests I've done myself and wasn't waiting in limbo for bloods
