    I bought 2 x grobags (2.5 tog) for $60 online, shop around & they aren't too bad.

    Not lined with anything but it does get quite cold here so being too hot isn't too much of a worry.

    That looks great. Might be worth it.

    I did get one grobag secondhand on ebay for $11. Hasn't arrived yet so I'm yet to see if it's okay.

    I found some premade quilting fabric... with some wadding in it. In spotlight. I'm going to see what it is like too. Couldn't resist. Very cute pink owls on it.

    Bit dodgy. .. Think I'll try it with flannelette lined with a zip up the front for the next one.

    I made some for a relative in Armidale and used polar fleece with part of it being doubled. It had arms and a flap over the zipper at the top so it wouldn't scratch. I put the zipper in upside down and put a buckle hole with a cover flap at the back so if the undid the zipper a little (because it was upside down) they could feed a seat buckle through the buckle hole at the back and where the zipper was slightly undone.

    I think it looks fine tamtam. If it works and keeps her warm then that's a success

    I always used upside down zips in all my sleeping bags if you do make another with a zip. 1 obsessed little miss with zips would have meant it never stayed zipped up here

    That is the quilted panel I turned into a sleeping bag! But I couldn't make the owls/hearts fit on the bag vertically so I made it up with the owls!!!
