Default 3 month old congestion/cough... difficulty breathing feeding first time mum

After a week of few snot balls and dry tickle throat, occassional sneezes for baby the last 3 days has bad congestion (but nothing you can actually see in her nose) and dry cough. This morning she sounds really horser in her voice and whistling nose.
Her last bottles yesterday were nightmare and same this morning.

Being public holiday don't want to chase down a doctor unless have to. Will be nightmare to track down and have found 13home drs not that good.

Ive been using fess saline nose spray before feeds and when her nose needed it the sucker. Now nothing to suck.
What else can I do for her?

I used a steam vapouriser overnight and Vicks baby rub with DS1 when he was a baby

Vaporizer purchased and up and running .. wholly vapor .. good stuff. Thanks Electric Boogaloo.

Any suggestions for the hoarse throat? So sad to hear as she really found her voice this month and soundwd so lovely .... and is so dry and croaky... sounds sick and sad.

Ive propped her bed up and havebaby vicks rub on her feet.

This sick business is heartbreaking and its only a cold

If it's not an infection, you just have to ride it out, unfortunately. Hope she gets better soon.

Euky rub is great for little ones too. We are using it on a conjested 5 month old and it helps. Sitting in the bathroom while it steams up from the hot shower as well?

If you can hear heaps of rattling in her chest try laying her over your knee on her tummy and then lightly tapping her chest with the sides of your hand. Helps them to bring all the crap up.
