God I feel so lucky, my boss is giving me all her baby stuff that she has stored since her little one was born 2 years ago; cot, an expensive pram, change table, bassinet, baby bjorn, as well as sheets and smaller items. I'm not much of a shopper at the best of times so this is great for us. We just have to pay for shipping from her place in Sydney down to me in Melbourne. We are so overdue for a new bed, this means we can finally do that and get a king size... no doubt there will be a little one in with us a bit! We will also have the baby / cot in our room so it gives me the opportunity to finally jazz up our room a bit. So much has been put on hold for IVF & this donor cycle.

I think this time around, we haven't set a budget on buying baby things. But we did make sacrifices for the future, after our last overseas trips in the last 6 mths, we have decided to save money by not traveling overseas for the next 2-3 years. As we usually travel overseas twice a year, this is a big contingency saving for the next IVF cycle/s for bub #4 (I'll leave it a year after baby Zac is born before we try for #4 though!!!)

Hi girls, had my bloods for NT scan yesterday and my scan is on Wednesday also!!!! Can't wait, I've noticed bubs HB on the decline, it was allways around 171 bpm but the last two days its been in the low 160s.
I won't budget for buying things I will just be sensible with my purchases, the way I see it is that we could still be childless doing more ivf so the money would be spent anyway! I have 3 frozen embryos left but I will try naturally for a bit before going back to the clinic seeing as we have conceived on our own more than once and I won't be so desperate next time as I will have one already! Anyone else still not BDing? FS said to wait till the second tri so I'm wondering if I need the go ahead from my OB or we can just get at it once 12 weeks rolls around.... There was no reason other than my early spotting.

That would be awesome!! Sounds like there might be a few of us cycling together next time hehe! Would be nice to have some familiar names it will be interesting with a 1 year old wont it wish? Might be hard to keep it a secret from everyone, at my clinic you couldn't take kids to the EPU, so would need someone to watch bubs for a few hours.
