Using more natural based products for nappy rash is neglectful parenting as they don't work (ex MIL)
Your son should go to a sleep clinic for his nightmares. (ahhh no. Let's rule out anything psychological first shall we???) -Child psychologist

I got told that my kids breastfed so often because I only had skinny milk not real milk because I had small boobs and was underweight!

My 90 year old grandmother told me to put mash potato in bottles for DS from a week old to make him strong.
The same grandmother also told me it was neglect to put my child on the floor to play. According to her he should be in his bassinet unless he was being fed or bathed.
Luckily she means well!

Not so much advice, but when I had DS at least 2 doctors spoke to me as though I was a silly little girl who had got herself pregnant and proceeded to lecture me on contraception. I was 36 and we had spent 9 months TTC'ing.
The elderly man across the road told me I should put the baby in the cot with a bottle of milk and they will fall asleep by themselves. I was still pregnant and planning on breastfeeding.
I have learned that apparently everyone is an expert on your child, except you. You know nuffink.
