Default How to keep a 2yr old warm in winter?

Just wondering how you keep toddlers warm in winter. The sleep suits were great when he couldn't walk, but obviously not now... he is currently wearing flannelette pj's but they creep up his back and he gets cold and if I put socks on him he will pull them off or they will fall off during his sleep because he's a restless sleeper. I can't find any onsies in a size 3... I'm sure you can get them, but I've looked around and no luck... any ideas??

Yes we've just started using the fleece sleepers like above. My daughters room is crazy cold and she is the same, socks off, won't tolerate blankets or sleeping bags. So now we just pop one of these on top of other clothes and she is sleeping through again so must be warm enough. They go far up in sizes, we got them from target.

There is a brand called Snugtime that people rave about but they are quite pricey. Lots on eBay second hand though.

I feel like there seem to be more this year in size 3 than last year. I picked 2 up from target last week and I got one from Costco

I've found a few onsies in sizes bigger than 1 at target and big w for my 2 year old. It seems they are more popular now so they must be making them more.
