    Default Parcel forwarding service

Hi guys, I need some help.

I want to buy DD something from the US Disney store but postage to Australia is over $50. I have seen some of you mention parcel forwarding services before and wanted to know how they work. Do you have to sign up or can you use it just once? How much does it generally cost? And which are good sites to use?

I use Hopshopgo - you have to sign up to get your PO box in the states , they don't charge you to get it but will charge you for storage if your item is in the box for more than 30 days - go to the website and have a look - they have a postage estimator so you can see what it will cost you - it is cheaper the more you get so I always buy a few things and get them all sent over at once my fav shops are:

    Gap.com
    Ralphlauren.com
    Oriental trading co( party stuff)
Amazon.com and target.com ( for toys you can't get here!)

Just be aware that the Disney store sometimes send stuff in huge boxes. My sister ordered stuff from Disney and had it sent to hopshopgo and they wanted her to pay over $200 to ship it here. She had it sent back to Disney and had them send it directly to her. I ordered some Disney stuff recently which I had sent over from hopshopgo with other parcels and they cut down the box so I got charged less, but it was still 3.5kgs which would have cost almost $50 to ship if I was only parcel I was getting sent to Australia.
I use hopshopgo regularly, but for Disney stuff it might be worth getting it sent direct.
