DS (8 months old) is the product of over 4.5years TTC - eventually conceived after 4th round of IVF...
We have not used any contraceptive methods at all and my periods returned end of December and we have been actively TTC baby number 2 since then...
Just wondering how long people TTC naturally with their second after their first was conceived with IVF?
Our FS told us to try naturally for 6 months. I have made an appointment to get referral from GP this week (figure it takes a few months to get appointment with FS) - and if I fall naturally in the meantime will just cancel appointment.
What have others done?

How long did you try 'naturally' for baby #2, before seeing FS?

Dd3 was as a result of our fifth IVF round. When she was 18m we started ttc naturally but also made an appointment with FS for 6months time. I was blown away when I got a bfp on our 3rd cycle naturally, especially after all those unsuccessful IVF attempts. I kept the FS appointment right up until a week before just in case something happened.
Definitely make your FS appoint as you can cancel it if need be. Best of luck and hopefully you don't need to go down the IVF route again.

i didnt even bother...i went back to FS about 2 days after DS was weaned at 6 months, started a drug i needed to be on for 4 months and went straight into ivf...i dont think we "tried" officially to TTC in that 4 months window really, although im sure i "hoped" for a natural miracle each month but i just knew it wouldnt happen for me...the official stats are about 25% of second babies after ivf are naturally conceived so its not bad odds i guess...if u have the time to wait. ive known a number of ppl who conceived naturally after many many many rounds of ivf for the first..and they were women over 40 too! i put my trust and faith back in science and im glad i did as i got a bfp first round but had an early m/c and then got my dd the next round. i guess its based on individual circumstances and if you can avoid the cost and invasiveness of ivf again and can afford to wait if your fertility isnt rapidly plummeting then 6 months is reasonable.
