    Default Kitchen dish sponges /cloths

    How often do you replace them?
    I have two, one for bench tops, stove and the table etc and the other for dishes.

    I usually change them when they 'look' like they need a change, so that could be monthly, but I'm wondering if it should be sooner, like weekly??

    I use chux wipes. I change these daily. Sponge with scourer I change weekly

    I change them every few days, I can't stand dirty sponges. I do buy the cheap home brand ones so it's not a big expense.

    I kill the germs via the microwave- damp sponge in microwave for 60 seconds..... Kills 99% of bacteria including E.coli

    I knew I shouldn't have read this thread. I already know I don't change them enough, what I didn't realise is just HOW often I'm not changing them.

    The only thing worse than a manky sponge is a wet hand towel lol. Probably change once a week we just use a chux cheapie and I usually half it cause they are so big

    I use enjo all purpose cloths and kitchen minis. They go through the washing machine every second to third day. I have a few to keep on rotation.
