    I have a friend like this and it drives me INSANE! Mainly because I know that everything she says isn't true anyway and it's just too hard for me to sit there and nod my head along to her delusions.

    I have dealt with it by slowly backing out of the friendship. I value friendships where both parties are valued and listened to. I don't have time for that shiz anyway!

    Why don't you just confront these people and see what they have to say. They may not be aware they are behaving in this manner. If you bring it to their attention and they do not change then they are not worth your time or effort.
