    I have the same problem. I worked out it's only tops I wear with my jeans, so must be from the button rubbing on the top.

    I find our ceasarstone benchtop does it to my tops where the button of my jeans are, so annoying.

    My vote is benchtop too - convinced DH had some belly button lice as it only happened to his tops. Ha. I mustn't lean on the bench.

    I also thought it was silverfish to start with, but it only happens in the same spot, so definitely not from them

    Yes!! Mostly always my Target tops; why is that?

    And yes, I believe it's from leaning against my caesar stone benches.
    And possibly seat belts rubbing.
    It was at its worst when I was wearing a metal skatie type belt.

    Yes! I also thought moths or silverfish but it only happens in the same spot on each tshirt. I would have thought damage from pests would be more inconsistent in where it occurs on your clothes?
