I wonder if its just something that happens after child birth...another joy of being a woman .

If you are feeling like there is something wrong please go an see a gp and get a referral to a gyne. I had some major dramas after child birth (big babies) and the best thing i ever did was go and see a specialist.
Thanks I have a great oby and women's health physio so l know stuff is now working the way it should

Yeah I think I did get it before I had dd. I seem to be ok with some ibuprofen. I get it mostly in the first day and a half.

How strange that I came across this thread.. I was just thinking the same thing this morning (have AF) and thought, is this normal?? I have had an ache down there during af for as long as I can remember.

Yep, I got this too after my first baby, I think I even started a thread on here looking for answers. I am currently pregnant and found I got the same pain during the second trimester and put it down to vulval varicosities. Only relief came from lying down sometimes with a cold pack between my legs. Also compression pants have stopped the pain. I'm yet to try these though when my AF returns after this bub.

Yes I get this too, usually the day before AF until day 2 when I'm at my heaviest. I feel like the pubic bone aches and my bits are really sore.

I always thought it was really common and this thread confirms it.

Me too. It's horrid. Definitely worse since having bub.
