My 3yo ds can go all day hardly drinking anything. He gets given some diluted juice at brekky, he may drink it or just have a sip, then it's water only all day which he will hardly have any of and then is allowed a little glass of diet lemonade at dinner time (yes not ideal but it's only a small bit). He may barely touch that either.
I am worried he's not drinking enough. At daycare two days a week he'll drink 1-1.5 bottles of water though.
Any ideas how to encourage him to drink more? I remind him or tell him to drink throughout the day but he says he doesn't want to!!!

Get him a fun drink bottle and leave it out for him?
A twirly straw? My ds loves drinking out of a twirly straw.
Water with ice blocks in it also makes it more fun?

My 3 yo drinks way more when the water's cold out the fridge than when it's room temperature. I use Thermos drink bottles which keep the water cold for ages.
I also make him drink water before he's allowed to do things eg have a drink before going off to play at the park. We have issues with constipation so know how important it is to get lots of water in!!
