    Default Snack ideas?

    Please share (other than fruit, cheese pieces, dried fruit). I'm tired of using packet snacks (mini rice biscuits, tiny teddies etc, not daily as he has kinder (daycare)

    Ps- I bake my own pita bread crips and they're a real hit!

    - mini quiches
    - homemade sausage rolls - chicken mince, grated zucchini, grated carrot, onion, garlic and mixed herbs
    - spinach and feta/Vegemite and cheese/ham, cheese and pineapple scrolls
    - vegetable hash browns - grated zucchini, grated carrot, grated sweet potato, grated potato, bit of egg & flour, fry like a pancake
    - savory muffins
    - pita bread pizzas
    - fruit kebabs (I know you said no fruit, but they can add a bit more fun)
    - cruskits with peanut butter or Vegemite
    - carrot, celery and capsicum sticks with hummus
    - make your own ice blocks, I blend mango, blueberry, banana and watermelon together and freeze. They are delicious!
    - egg and lettuce sandwiches

    I do popcorn in my microwave rice cooker for DS, he loves it plain, no salt, no oil or butter :-) this is the one I have so the lid is secure.

    Vege sticks or crackers with hummus
    Homemade museli bars
    Mini bran muffins
    Cheese scones
    Wholemeal grilled cheese / Ham / tomato
    Yoghurt
    Pita pockets
    Dehydrators can be good for making biscuits / dried fruit / fruit leathers
    Pastry triangles with a savory mince nor some other filling.
    Eggs poached or scrambled
    Vegetable fritters

    Tzatiki or hummus or feta cheese dip with plain crackers and veggie sticks

    ATM he's snacking on some Hommus dip (around 1Tb) with 4 Ritz crackers and mini fruit sticks which had a little raspberries, kiwi, grapes and banana on each one.

    I made spinach & fetta scones recently which DD loved.

    I'm in a bit of a food rut with DD at the moment. The problem with baked stuff for snacks is that she loves them fresh but when I freeze and then offer them later she's not keen.
