    Default Back pain in pregnancy

Has anyone tried the SRC pregnancy shorts for back pain? Or have you tried something else? I'm nearly 13 weeks, and I don't know how I'm going to last to the end!

I am currently 30 weeks and have had back pain since around 10 weeks on and off. I have seen my Physio when needed (now only around once a month), got the pregalates DVD to help strengthen everything and also I see a personal trainer at the gym who specialises in pregnancy fitness, I credit her with helping me out so much.

Like you I suffered early and wondered how on earth I would feel as the pregnancy progressed. I still get the odd niggle when I get out of bed but all in all my back has been good for around 6 weeks now

I think if you're wanting to try something to help, start now before it's too late.. Otherwise your body will just adjust to accommodate in other areas..

I'd of tried SRC pregnancy shorts through my pregnancy had I of known just how bad I was going to get..

I had terrible back and hamstring issues from around 6 weeks with my dd and i still have some issues with my SI joint now that she is nearly 2 1/2. get onto it as soon as you can, as you don't want to have ongoing issues (mind you I was seeing the physio and chiro right through my pregnancy)

Find a good physio who specialises in women and pregnancy. I had severe backpain in my last pregnancy to the point where i couldn't stand up straight and i could hardly walk - i was only 13ish weeks as well!!! She tried to give me the belt to help my pain, however, it just didn't work for me, so i just went on without it.

After a couple of physio sessions, she fixed me right up and i didn't have any further issues with back pain for the rest of my pregnancy.

I use them and they're fantastic. Pretty much pain free when they're on.
