So I have had cockatiels all my life and we have one to the moment. A few weeks ago another one flew into our yard so now we have 2. I have put up signs everywhere, so hoping someone sees the signs. Until then we will look after him and provide a permanent home if no one collects him.
He is a really well cared for bird and such a sweet bird, but is super clingy. He either has to be on my shoulder or he walks on the ground behind me. The moment I get too far away he flies over to me and lands on my shoulder. If I take him off he flies straight back. Which is cute, but I really don't want a bird permanently strapped to me.
What can I do? None of my other cockatiels have ever had to be in a cage, but we are running out of options for this little guy.
