Sorry to hear about the neg Shrill and Nic
Shrill - until we had the diagnosis 2 months ago all our problems were from low motility you know we were labelled unexplained as well. How long has it been since your DH has been tested? If it's over 12 months I urge you have him retest. I was nagging DH for 18 months, knowing it was his despite a completely normal test 2.5 years ago. He kept saying "the dr said SA doesn't change that quick". It does. In fact I firmly believe it happened only months after his first SA.
I know you are living in limbo right now If you have the $$$ I would be moving straight to IVF. I've read it has much better results for UI.

@delirium - DH had his SA in May or June last year and came back perfect. I'll ask the FS if he thinks DH should do another one.
@HillDweller - thanks. Nice wine will happen!
@bel2466 - when I texted DH about the negative result, he messaged back (after I sent a sad smiley): "Well we need to try something else then, off this one path over & over and then you beating yourself up when it doesn't work."
Lovely man that one. Always makes me go towards action and not let me wallow in self pity.
So, yes, I think I'll now look at IVF instead of wasting more time on OI.
Will need to sit down and look at finances this weekend! Eek!

Shrillian - oh hun, I'm so sorry to hear it was a negative. I just left work and thought id check to see how you went, We're all here for you, maybe if we share the disappointment we can make it a little less for you to bear. And one day we can all share the joy & make it bigger.
NicM - so sorry to hear your news too

There are a few very reasonably priced clinics in Sydney now Shrill, I was pleasantly surprised at how little I was out of pocket. Fingers crossed it will be something you will be able to consider x

Sorry to hear shrill and NicM
AJsyd said it well. We all know how disappointing it can be especially when our bodies are telling us something else.
Happy BDing to everyone this next month.
Sorry if that was too much, I've already had my wine!
