@Shrillian hehehe laughing at your excited vein
Nope, no AF yet and no spotting. Should be 3 days away. I'm still proud that I haven't tested yet hehe I'm kind of hanging out to test or for AF to come now though - because I just got a stupid cold sore today! I haven't had one for YEARS and now I can't use the cream that I would normally have bought for it because you can't use it if you're pregnant. Seeing as though I don't know for sure, I thought I better not. Gah. I would ONLY forgive it (maybe) if it was due to my immune system being low because I actually was pregnant. Otherwise, my lip and I will be having a serious talk.

Ooh HD I just had a cold sore a for the week following my BFP! Hope it's a sign x

I was having a laugh before thinking that it would be just TYPICAL if I did get a BFP on Monday. I've spent the last few days telling my DH that he needs to just prepare himself for disappointment because I'm quite sure it is just not the month, and he remains annoyingly optimistic. It would be extremely typical of the Universe to make me go "Here! See, I TOLD YOU you were getting your hopes up for no reason....here's the test...and.....oh." It knows I hate being wrong.

Well, I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for you, HD!
In the last 8 days, my poor vein has been jabbed 4 times! This is why it gets excited!!!

HD - yes, what a total keeper!
sometimes it's better to just get things off your chest & out in the open x
no I'm not temping or anything particularly scientific. I completely thought we'd missed the time but now I'm not so sure. Still no sign of AF and today is day 40.
Those of you tracking... how long between O & AF for you?
shrillian - ouch. At least that gives you one positive in the 2WW

It's always 14 days for me AJ but I know some peoples can vary from 8 days to 16 days. You might have O'd a little later than you thought and maybe caught the eggy!

Always 14 days for me too AJ. I have very irregular cycles but it was the first half leading up to ovulation that varied. From O till AF always 14 for me.

Bel - you were away for a bit, how are you going?
im away at the moment so going to do a test in the morning. I've been freaking myself out doing way too much Google-searching. So much conflicting info. I reaaaallllly don't want to get my hopes up but it's hard not to. Driving myself a bit crazy! Read so many stories of women who say every now and then they have a really long cycle, so might be all it is
