I just purchased the Oricom SC710 (the video monitor) and I love it. We have only been using it a week but it is great.
We also have the Angelcare AC402 monitor with the breathing sensor pads and that is great although I do find the lights on this monitor extremely bright and you can't turn them off. Where as the Oricom is a dark screen unless baby makes a noise.

I use Product Review and Bub Hub too. I agree I wouldn't pay Choice to read a review. Often they don't have the most up to date products or review items I am not interested in anyway.

Good luck with your research, we review most purchases we make.

We have the oricom video and breathing monitor. I love it. I wouldn't never not have a video monitor now I have one. So much better then risk waking baby to check on them. And if you're as paranoid as me that would be ALOT!
The breathing monitor saved my sanity as well. And that my bub was a tummy sleeper it put my mind at rest much much more.
I believe the new version of the oricom you can add an additional camera to one monitor which I think is a great feature too. Wish I had that option.

I loved our dlink but for some reason we can't connect it in our new house. We've tried pretty much everything but no luck! :-(
