Both my son and daughter had exactly the same heartrate at their NT scans (167 bpm). I don't think you can predict a baby's sex from that method.

My boy was at the 160's until about 2 weeks before he was born it dropped to 145. My daughter was in the 140's until a couple if weeks before she was born and it was in the 170's.
So it would seem it did work but only in hindsight...
