Default Gender prediction by heart rate??

So ive heard a lot of people talking about the old wives tale for gender prediction based on the baby's heart rate. I cannt remember DS' s heart rate. However this one has been between 155 and 170. Ive read that if the heart rate is below 140 its more likely to be a boy... and above 140 for a girl.... what do you all think about this? And was it true for you!

I don't really 'believe' in the old wives tales, but middy guessed girl based on heart rate and belly babe is a girl.

For me it's bull.. I'm pregnant with a boy and his heart rate was 170 at 8 weeks, 160 at 12 weeks.
