I was told the regression of language is one of 3 likely causes. regressive autism, seizures or landau kleffner syndrome that is very serious and related to seizure activity. A child showing regression should undergo an eeg to rule out seizure activity. I would take her to a good speechy or paed.

I hope it's getting sorted op it sounds very scary. I agree with seeking other medical advise. As I was reading your post it reminded me of what happened to my mum after her stroke, physically ok but no longer there mentally. Google Aphasia
