Hi people- I thought I'd join the thread.
I've started my weight loss journey, as of 7-06-14 .

    Start weight - 82.6kg
Goal weight - 65kg (pre pregnancy weight) (loss of 17kg) (even better 60kg)
weight loss so far is 2kg (15kg to go).

I do a weekly weigh in at the chemist every Saturday morning. I've cut out junk food/drinks. I'm eating fresh salads, vegetables and fruits. Lots of fish and meat. The first day was the hardest for the cravings, but it is getting better. I've set a goal that for 6 weeks no treats and after that I will introduce a treat day each week. I walk 2 1/2 - 3km 3 days per week and I'll start doing toning soon, as my partner just purchased a Powertec workout station.

    Welcome @Luminary
@Rtaylor wow you can really tell the difference -great work!!

Have been slack on the exercise front the last fortnight...DD got sick then I got sick & I fell out of routine. Got to organise myself again. I'm off the pill now so hoping that will help a little with the weightloss.

Hi ladies - just thought I'd pop in. My weightloss journey isn't going to well. I got a chest infection and then my husbands gran passes away so unfortunately exercise has taken a bit of a back seat.

We just booked a holiday to Thailand for November so I'm hoping that's the motivation I need 😊

@MrsKLM sorry to hear about your DH's gran. And hope you are feeling better!

Got up & exercised this morning for the first time in a few weeks. Just did some power walking & 2 small sets of pushups.

So my FS told me I was beter off starting fertility treatment and losing kgs after first baby. But I am now terrified after reading about weight and impact on effectiveness of treatment on the web. My BMI is 37!!! I am taking the next 3 months off now so I can do my best to lose 5% of my weight (and get a holiday in) before moving to IVF. But it would take me a yea ror more to get to BMI 30!

urhhhh... its 5 months later and I have lost 5kg... but still have 5 more to lose before I can start IVF. I'm starting to freak out that I will miss the boat and will have no eggs left by the time my BMI is low enough to start ivf!

Smash 5 meals a day and you'll shed it fast... And No carb after 1 o'clock.. Make a list of the things you like or right a meal plan and stick it on the fridge.. For example
Cereal for breakfast or yoghurt what ever you like
A few hours later maybe a can of tuna and crackers or fruit or boiled eggs/curried eggs
Then lunch maybe the microwave veg satchels and chicken/turkey any kind of meat or a wrap with salad and meat
A few hours later a piece of fruit or carrot sticks and dip
Then dinner maybe marinated chicken and veg or salad, sweet potato chips and red meat..

Just some ideas.. I like to picture it like a fire the more you add to the fire the better it will burn
